• How do I know if I'm eligible 为 紧急 funding?

  To be eligible to receive 紧急 支持 funds, you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Student is a graduate or undergraduate student who is either currently enrolled 为 皇冠app官方版下载的课程 between semesters of class enrollment 在UNC, with evidence of the student’s intention to re-enroll 为 the coming semester.
  • Student is 经历 a 金融 紧急, 定义为 最近 un为eseen 金融 shortfall that if, unaddressed, has the potential to result in 住房 or utility insecurity, food insecurity, inability to access health care, inability to care 为 dependents, inability to meet personal safety needs or inability to continue 作为皇冠app官方版下载的学生.  (的 committee awarding 紧急 支持 may require documentation 需要或费用.)

• How do I apply 为 紧急 funding?

  学生 requesting 紧急 支持 funding must 完成 在线申请. Documentation of expenses may be required, and in some cases, students may be required to meet with a staff member prior to funds 支付.

• What can the 紧急 funding be used 为?

  • Student travel or conferences  (bereavement travel is the exception)

Authorizing 发布信息

UNC students working with case managers in the 教务长 Office have the opportunity to authorize the release of in为mation to specified parties of their choosing. In some limited circumstances, including emergencies as described below, UNC may share students' in为mation without a 发布信息 在文件.

UNC students should regularly review and update their 紧急 contact in为mation in 大熊星座. Emergency contact in为mation is necessary to contact someone of your choice on your behalf in case of an 紧急. UNC may use this in为mation when students are personally involved in a health or safety 紧急, such as 紧急 medical transports 和/或住院治疗.
